Here is a problem solving activity that gets you using some of your knowledge of the math you have already mastered! Now it's time to think about it a little bit differently!

HINT: If there are double paretheses or brackets [ ] or parentheses inside brackets, work from the inside out!

If there is a fraction with an equation on top and and equation on bottom, solve each equation first, put the answers in fraction form (numerator and denominator) and then divide: top divided by bottom!

Remember to follow PEMDAS! With parentheses inside of parentheses, work from the inside out! Do what is in the inside parentheses then do the rest of the parentheses. Also, within the parentheses, it is important to also follow the steps of PEMDAS!
