7th grade LA-Period 4 Assignments

Read or listen to this chapter and answer the questions on the Google Form.

Read the instructions on the Google Doc.
Create an new Google Doc (click on the + Create, then Doc).
Make sure you put your name and date on it.
You will have at least 6 paragraphs.
*You need an introduction, a paragraph for each animal or symbol on your totem pole, and a conclusion.
*I have asked that you have at least 4 animals on your pole. If you have more than 4 animals, then you will have more paragraphs.

Read or listen to chapter 24. Then answer the questions.

Listen to or read the chapter and answer the questions on the google form.

Read the chapter or listen to it being read. Answer the questions!

Read both chapters or listen to them being read. Answer the questions.

Read or listen to Chapter 15 of Touching Spirit Bear and complete the Google form

Read or listen to Chapter 16 and complete the google form

On the google doc, read all the directions and write 2 complete paragraphs. Follow the directions carefully. Have someone in your how look it over and give you suggestions for making it really clear before you turn it in!

Write 2 paragraphs to explain the quote. It would be great to have at least 5 sentence for each paragraph. More is fine too!

The first paragraph is what the quote means and how it applies to Cole and his life.

The second paragraph should give a real life example. Explain exactly how it relates to life. Be specific!

**Remember to indent your paragraphs. Use capitals and periods and check your spelling!

Read or listen (or both) to Chapter 12 of Touching Spirit Bear. Answer the questions on the worksheet.

Read or listen (or both) to Chapter 11. Answer the questions on the worksheet

Read (or listen to) Touching Spirit Bear Chapter 10.
Answer the questions on the worksheet and share with me.

Read (or listen to) Touching Spirit Bear Chapter 9.
Answer the questions on the worksheet and share with me.

1. Read Chapters 7 and 8.
**If you don't have the book, you can get it for free on audible.com right now and sign up for the free trial. Be careful....right now this is supposed to be free for students. You can also sign up for the free 30 day trial. But, make sure your parents are monitoring it so you don't get automatic charges later!

go to youtube.com and listen to it being read for free - there are a couple of different people reading.

2. Answer the questions to accompany the chapters! Remember to cite your textual evidence for each answer you give (page # and quote or part of quote).

It's been quite awhile since we started reading this book! We read the first 6 chapters together.
Remember, this book is set up to tell what is happening to the main character in real time, then going back to what happened before (his memories). It jumps back and forth for awhile.
